Celebrating 5 Years of Crafting Quality Spaces, Giving Back Through Libraries
For over half a decade, Eacco Design + Construction has been a trusted name in the architecture and construction industry, shaping homes, businesses, and community spaces across the National Capital Region. From residential housing projects in NCR, to coffee shop interiors in Metro Manila, and condominium renovations that elevate urban living, our firm has consistently delivered spaces where every detail defines quality.
Yet beyond the walls we build and the structures we design, our vision has always been clear: to tailor spaces that transform experiences whether for work, rest, or learning. This November, as we celebrate our 5th anniversary, we choose to honor our journey not only by reflecting on the homes and business spaces we’ve crafted, but by giving back to the community that inspires us.
The Challenge of Public Libraries
One of the pressing challenges we’ve observed is the limited access to learning facilities. Public libraries, though vital, often struggle with three persistent issues: Location accessibility, Outdated learning materials and lastly Maintenance.
While government initiatives like Project LARA (2024) recognize the importance of libraries, the reality is that many remain underfunded and under-resourced. Building a library is often a one-time allocation, with resupply and updates delayed by years of bureaucratic approvals. Read more here.
As technology races ahead, students increasingly rely on smartphones for information. Yet, libraries remain irreplaceable sanctuaries; quiet, credible, and emotionally grounding spaces where learners can focus, reflect, and grow.
Charity Work: Renovating Barangay Ugong Public Library
In line with our Corporate Social Responsibility program, “Eacco Cares,” we are proud to announce the renovation of the Barangay Ugong Public Library in Pasig City.
This initiative marks the first chapter of our CSR journey, aimed at closing the gap between modern learning needs and the current state of public libraries. By revitalizing this space, we hope to provide students not only with updated resources but also with a serene environment that nurtures both academic success and emotional well-being.
Our renovation will focus on architectural design upgrades for comfort and accessibility, Interior architecture improvements to create modern study zones, sustainable construction solutions for long-term maintenance, and Community development programs to encourage active use of the library.
By integrating thoughtful design with practical operations, we aim to increase usage, reduce maintenance burden, and create a library that serves learners today and adapts for tomorrow. Once we empower the usage of these library, learners will be able to maximize advantages that could help them with academic tasks. This little seedling we are planting creates a potential that is undeniable to the students and learners; growth.
